I designed this to fit very tight based on my saw. If for some reason you find the cap too tight, you can take a file or sandpaper and VERY LIGHTLY remove a small amount of material on the tabs to dial in the fit. If after doing that, you still can't get a good fit, I will work with you to dial in the right snap-fit.
