This slot punch is made for punching rectangular holes through hot material typically 1/4" or less in thickness. Made from 5/8" round O1 tool steel and measure approx. 7" in overall length available in different widths. Oil blackened finish. Excellent punch for making bottle openers out of 1/4x1" stock! **Please note that these are hand forged items and some slight variation can occur from piece to piece.**
