The wine is made up of 100% Chardonnay aged a small part in barrel (about 30%) and the remainder in tank on the lees of viognier from one of Jean-Marc's Lafage’s other cuvees. This vinification allows for a really complex wine of weight and aromatics without the overt oak tones that permeate so many other Chardonnays at this price.
