Each bead has a moveable core, shaped like a Jack. It wiggles around on the interior of the bead, with circle protrusions showing through the holes on the outer surface of the beads. These beads are carved by hand, from one piece of bone. They are made from cow bone, in India. ✨📿✨📿✨📿✨Curious to know about the source of the bone? In India and Nepal, not much is wasted. So instead of just eating the meat of an animal, every part of the animal is used: bones for things like beads, hides/hair for clothing and accessories and talismans, and the meat is consumed.
