Felted Merino Wool/Silk Scarf - Black Patchwork, Nepal

This stunning silk and wool scarf was handmade in a fair trade women's cooperative in Nepal.  It features a patchwork silk scarf with felted circles on top.  This is the perfect example of contemporary meets traditional. ABOUT THE ARTISANS This scarf was handmade in a fair trade women's cooperative in the Himalayas.  The artisans use traditional Nepalese felting techniques to embellish the silk, creating a stunning effect.  The women are paid fair wages, work in safe, healthy conditions and receive job training skills.
