The Hard Maple is the state tree of Wisconsin, Vermont, New York and West Virginia. In the North, during the cold nights and warm days of late winter, the Sugar Maple is tapped for its sucrose-containing sap, the source of maple syrup. Until the turn of the century, the heels of women's shoes were made from Maple. Maple has been a favorite of American furniture makers since early Colonial days, and it is a staple product for woodworkers everywhere. It is an excellent choice for building furniture, making cutting boards, and so much more. We stock 1-COM and SEL&BTR grades of Hard White Maple at our headquarters in Spring, TX. All our dimensional lumber is milled S2S, and the prices listed below are the per-board-foot prices. Please select the thickness and grade that you need. If you are picking up locally, you are welcome to get as little or as much as you need. If, however, you need your lumber shipped, we require a minimum purchase of 250BF. Freight rates for dimensional lumber m
