The original sugarhouse was made in 1935; first sugarhouse in Vermont with a concrete floor. The sugarhouse that we boil in now was built in 1982. Our grandfather made some really great maple syrup, watching him sugar was like watching a ballet, he had such graceful dedication to his craft. Feels pretty incredible to tap a tree knowing our lineage has tapped it many times before.
