They contain no toxins, phthalates, hormone disruptors, carcinogens, parabens, and no California Proposition 65 list chemicals.  -They will last 45 day and you can reuse the plug-in and use a refill when you are ready to switch out your scent. -If you are using in a large space, we recommend using 2-3 to fill the space with scent if you would like a stronger scent -The refills TWIST onto the plug-in. They do not "pop" in like other brands so be sure to twist your refill until it is tight before letting go to avoid spills
