Egyptian Cartouche Pendant With Eye of Ra, Anubis, Ankh Symbols and Pictograms

Material: 100% Sterling silver Weight: 6.3 grams Size: More than 3/4 inch wide x 1-3/8 inch tall excluding bail (20 x 35 mm) Item number: wh321 Shaped to resemble a cartouche, this large pendant is decorated Egyptian-style, with an Eye of Ra symbol at top and below a hieroglyph-like image of Anubis, the jackal god and caretaker of the dead. There is a small Ankh symbol on each side of Anubis, and the entire pendant has a raised border inscribed with hieroglyphs and similar pictograms. The Eye, Anubis, and Ankhs are all raised and polished, standing above a darkened recessed background. The opposite side has an overall hammered finish with the inverse impression of the Eye of Ra clearly visible.
