Black Wood Cutting Board  Our new line of sexy black wood cutting boards will add a touch of sophistication to your next gathering.  How they are made. We use an ancient Japanese wood burning technique called shou sugi ban. The process involves charring the wood which we do with a blow torch. Then cooling and cleaning the charred wood and finally oiling them with food grade mineral oil.  They have a durable finish because we don’t use any stains or dyes.
