Chrysanthemums  One of my very first floral designs. Large in scale, each petal in “Chrysanthemums” was lovingly hand-drawn and hand-colored. The detail of the petals gives the pattern interest as well as visual texture. A “Drop Shadow” added to a few of the flowers, enhances the depth of the pattern while offering the allusion that those flowers are lifting off the other layers.
