Interlocking Squares “One of my earliest designs, “Interlocking Squares”, was created to satisfy a need  for a large scale, structural, geometric pattern.  While creating the layout of this  design, I found pairing the squares next to each other too simple.  By overlapping  the squares, a new dimension was created.  When I interlocked the squares, the  depth and structure I was looking for came to life.
