Hand dyed, fingering/sock weight, Chinese New Year Inspired yarn with a mixture of gray, brown, red, peach, pink, orange, and ivory. The yarn base is an 80% Superwash Merino Wool/20% Nylon blend that's perfect for socks, hats, scarves, sweaters, blankets, and shawls. The yarn works up in a variegated pattern. The Chinese calendar also contains a zodiac of 12 animals and 5 elements that are said to affect one’s personality and destiny. 2024 is the Year of the Dragon (the Wood Dragon to be exact), and we dyed up a colorway respectfully called “Year of the Dragon.” This colorway has a base color of gray and then hues of red, pink, peach, orange, and brown that were heavily speckled onto the yarn.
