Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) Sharpening/grinding wheels don’t need to be balanced, trued, shaped, and they don’t wear. This state of the art wheel is ideal for sharpening or shaping High Speed Steal. Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) is a man-made crystalline material which is one of the hardest materials in the world, just below diamond on the hardness scale. CBN is electroplated onto an aluminum wheel which has been balanced with precision. The wheel diameter does not change over time, maintaining the same grind on your tools for years. Our CBN wheels come in 80 and 180 grit, achieving a super fine sharp edge with a polished bevel. They are 1.5 inches wide with a 5/8” bore. These wheels can make most any grinder preform at a much higher level, changing the way you sharpen forever.
