Design Saturated in deep indigo, Indikon stands tall with a high tapered crown and sculptural presence. The straw is rich in tone, quietly intense. A hand-dyed band from the 1930s wraps the base—aged, imperfect, and exacting in its contrast. A nod to centuries of dye tradition, stripped down to its most essential form. Material Hand-dyed Ecuadorian straw. Natural dyeing minimizes the harmful effects on the surrounding environment. Our custom hats are hand-dyed by using plant and vegetable base pigments. Specifications - Hand-dyed Ecuadorian straw with a 3" brim, 4 1/4" crown and double dyed batik band.- Handwoven in Ecuador. Handcrafted at our NY Atelier.
