If the groove in your base is too narrow to insert the spokes, run sandpaper around the groove several times, and /or sand down the end of each spoke (you want a tight fit). Thickness: 5/8" - Bases are sanded and ready for your weaving project. **(Please note that Pine Bases normally contain knots) Call for pricing and availability on Cherry wood. All bases are quality made by a local craftsman. NOTE: Some of the 2" Pine has an offset groove, made by another company. MADE IN USA.
