Antique Double Sided Embroidery Manila Manton Superb dense Cantonese embroidery on pink silk Made in Canton, China in 1880-1900 Antique shawl with soft colored embroidery on white silk base Profusely embroidered with figures and scenes Excellent piece for use as a style accessory or as a collectible! Also known as Piano Shawl, Fringed Flapper Shawl & Flamenco Shawl.  155cm x 150 cm not including the fringe. The fringe is about 46 cm of which about 15cm is woven.  The centre, the point at whih it folds over into a triangle when worn, appears to be a bit faded.
