Young Authors 1/2 Day Summer Camp

Plan it. Write it. Create it. Publish it.  Do you have a story inside you waiting to be written? In Young Authors Camp, writers will spend the week creating their own original book from idea to final draft. Through engaging mini-lessons and writing workshop time, campers will explore idea generation, character creation, world building, story structure, editing, and refining as they bring their stories to life. Writers may choose the format that best fits their story, including a picture book, chapter book, comic, or graphic novel style, and will work toward completing a digital and/or paper book ready for the final stages of publishing. Throughout the week, campers will receive guidance, encouragement, and feedback from experienced writers and editors, helping them strengthen their storytelling and develop their unique voice.
