Then completely remove the existing bolt from the battery terminal.   Attach Accessory Bolt to Battery Terminal   Install the Accessory Bolt in place of the original terminal bolt. Then add the nut to the end of the Accessory Bolt and attach to the battery contact. Tighten up the nut to secure the terminal to the battery.   Apply New Stud Terminal   Apply your new stud terminal to the Accessory Bolt and apply the nut.
