This is an experemental jungle sling? I have read this is a trial sling that never made it out of the trial stage, but have never seen any documentation on it. It's a 1907 pattern three hook sling, just like a BAR sling in every way but is made of canvas instead of leather. Steel hooks, and the gromets have rust stains around them. Very odd and unique piece
