Description The spectacular figure of Lord Shiva, the Great Ascetic God, is being nicely carved out of brass with some exquisite designs. The Lord is seated on a meditative posture and the trident is fixed nearby. The coil of serpents around his neck is beautifully designed. Seated on a skin of leopard, the figure reveals a deep sense of grandeur and gravity. One of the Trinity Gods, Lord Shiva is responsible for the destruction, but it has a positive element too as destruction is the immediate prelude to regeneration.
