Description The Netsys G.hn 1000Base-T Ethernet Over Coax Adapter (NHG-200C) is a cost-effective, standards-based Wave-2 G.hn Ethernet-over-coax solution designed for 75-ohm coaxial cable (e.g., RG-59, RG-6). An ideal solution for networking in homes, hotels, motels, and multi-tenant applications, the NHG-200C supports a maximum operating distance of 5,900 feet (1.8 km) in point-to-point connections without passing through multi-splitters or multi-taps, handling attenuation levels up to -76 dB. The NHG-200C comes ready to plug and play out of the box with no configuration required and is capable of speeds up to 1.7Gbps aggregate. The G.hn Ethernet Over Coax Adapter (NHG-200C) operates over existing 75-ohm coaxial cable and features dual 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet ports to provide Ethernet connections for multiple devices at each end point. The NHG-200C's G.hn Port is connected to the 75-ohm coaxial cabling extending throughout the home or from the central office location, supporting up to 16 total NHG-200C adapters throughout the location. The TV Port can be utilized to carry the TV or STB signal over the same cable (within the 250Mhz ~ 1.2Ghz transmission spectrum), and the two (2) RJ-45 Ethernet ports connect to a NIC, hub, switch, or other network devices including gaming consoles, smart TV's and IP phones or cameras. The NHG-200C provides a straightforward and cost-efficient solution for establishing standards-based coaxial cable networks and delivering high-speed internet access in hotels, motels, and multi-tenant buildings.
