Description The Netsys G.hn 1000Base-T Ethernet Over Coax Kit (NHG-200CKIT) provides a cost effective, standards-based Wave-2 G.hn point-to-point Ethernet extension solution over 75-ohm coaxial cable (RG-59, RG-6, etc.) Simple to install, the NHG-200CKIT includes everything needed to quickly deploy a high-speed 1000Base-T Ethernet connection over existing coaxial cable at distances of up to 5,900 feet (1.8 km) in point-to-point configurations (without passing through multi-splitters or multi-taps, and with a maximum attenuation of -76 dB). The NHG-200CKIT includes two (2) NHG-200C G.hn 1000Base-T Ethernet Over Coax adapters that are plug-and-play, requiring no configuration and delivering aggregate speeds of up to 1.7 Gbps over existing 75-ohm coaxial cabling. The G.hn port on each NHG-200C unit connects to the coaxial network, while the TV port can simultaneously carry TV or STB signals over the same cable within the 250 MHz to 1.2 GHz spectrum. Dual 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet ports provide versatile connectivity to devices such as gaming consoles, smart TVs, IP phones, and cameras. The NHG-200C units also support point-to-multipoint applications, allowing up to 16 total NHG-200C adapters on the network. The NHG-200CKIT offers a simple and cost-efficient solution for extending 1000Base-T Ethernet over existing coaxial cable infrastructure, making it ideal for a wide range of applications.
