"THE PILGRIM'S PROGRESS" (VINTAGE 1904 BOOK WITH VERY RARE COVER/AS IS)

this is an interesting edition of this famous classic by john bunyan. published waaaaaay back in 1904. during my research to find out more about this version, i couldn't find another one with this same cover anywhere online. this particular two-iris (or two-orchid?) cover seemed like a standard publication cover used for many books during this time period. i definitely spotted many other book titles published with this same cover, in varying colors and versions. but i was surprised to not find this 1904 two-flower cover of "the pilgrim's progress" listed on any website online. at estate sales, i'm drawn to hardcover books, especially old ones. i discovered this treasure at an elderly professor from india's family home estate sale. his book collection hinted at a wonderful education and a broad love for reading all kinds of literature. the book is NOT in perfect shape or even good shape. issues: - it shows some water damage. - i have an extra-sensitive sense of smell and think it has a
