Live Algae Starter Cultures

Sustainable Nutrition partnered with our sister company, Sustainable Aquatics to offer live algae starter cultures. We currently have  Our most popular starter is unialgal Tetraselmis suecica phytoplankton.  We also offer  Nannochloropsis oculata, Non-Motile Green Marine Microalgae Isochrysis galbana- Motile Golden-Brown Marine Microalgae All of our starter cultures are  maintained in clean, single-species cultures grown from starter stock maintained in a cleanroom and grown using aseptic techniques, ensuring that you are getting the best phytoplankton available.Our algae products are bottled without nutrients. Shelf life is 90 days if stored  a dark cool refrigerator*  EXCEPT Isochrysis galbana and Rhodomas lens cannot tolerate low temperatures. Store at room temp away from light and use within two days of receipt.  Instructions for Use
