Designed by Alvar Aalto, 1935Made in Finland by Artek   Aalto invented a process for bending thick layers of birch into graceful yet strong frames for a number of products including this set of nesting tables. The framework consists of laminated birch wood and is topped by a piece of birch all finished with a natural lacquer. Each table nests neatly under it's larger companion. Nesting tables 88 serve as a distinctive addition to any room or hospitality area.
