After hunting down the hardware, I realized I could add charging and HDMI output quite easily (with the correct USB C hub).  THE CONCEPT WAS BORN!The internal hardware simply converts your N64 controllers into USB controllers that the Switch can recognize and use. What's the difference between the Pro and Mini dock? The Switch64 Pro Dock has 4 ports for N64 controllers, as well as an extra USB 3.0 port underneath, USB C for charging, and HDMI port for full 1080p TV output.The Mini is only has 2 ports for N64 controllers.
