Maestro® Paua Abalone Sea Shell Fountain Pen (Medium Nib) - 18K Gold Plated
Building on the tradition of our classic Maestro series introduced circa 2003, this production was introduced to the market in 2014. The Xezo Maestro Sea Shell Gold fountain pen series is produced in limited editions. Each luxury pen is individually serialized and unique. The pen features a medium point German-made steel nib and solid brass fittings plated in 18 karat gold. The overall design concept of these pens uses the Art Nouveau style, highlighting the natural beauty found in the colors and shapes of real sea shells. These pens are handcrafted and feature a uniquely developed, intensive technique of applying the sea shell panels on the solid brass round body of the pen. Once the shell is perfected, layers upon layers of clear lacquer are applied onto the pen. Each of these layers are cured and hand-polished to a shine before the next is applied, ensuring the precious iridescence of the natural sea shell is preserved and durable.
