Moccasin Patterns
Designed By Brooklyn Shoe Space Moccasins originated in Native American tribes across North America. Traditionally, they were made of deerskin and furs to protect feet from severe weather. Individual tribes used different designs and adorned the shoes with beads, fringe, and stitching. Moccasins are soft, comfortable, and durable. You don't need many tools to produce moccasins, making them an accessible shoe for beginner and intermediate independent makers. For modern-day use, we add a simple EVA outsole and a zipper at the back. Fringe is optional. MATERIALS Each pair requires 5-6 sq ft of leather.
