Steel Clamping Block ( 1 included with rack )

This heavy duty clamping block assembly is $79.95 plus shipping.   This has 1/2" diameter hardened bolts that lock the rack shaft to your receiver lip to prevent left and right rack movement and is patented.  New style clamp locks to curved receiver flanges tighter. The clamp will hold much better if you slide it  1/4"  away from the hitch and then tighten the 5" long bolts to 50 lbs of torque. (as shown in photo) The long bolt should have a 1/4" space between it and the Hitch flange itself. The tabs are supposed to clamp on the 3/8" lip (band on end of hitch) not go on the back side of it.    There should be no left and right wobble of the rack.  As far as up and down you might need to slide a shim under the rack shaft then attach the clamp.   Note: when travelling the camera location and distant objects created an illusion of excess movement.  ( a little looks like 4x more) This clamp block is designed to clamp on a standard 2" Hitch tube with a flange.  If you do not have this receiver please call us.
