Loki

Loki is a male mixed breed who arrived at the shelter as a young pup in 2018. Loki doesn't belong in the timeline of the shelter and is eagerly searching for his forever family. He has been here for far too long and deserves the opportunity to live a happy and care-free life. Loki is a bit shy but seeks affection from our volunteers in a gentle manner. He has a slight trauma associated with his lower back being touched, which should be addressed as he was startled when another dog bit him there. Sweet Loki is simply misunderstood and deserves that second chance that everyone deserves.Here's what one of our volunteers had to say about Loki:"Poor Loki has had a difficult past, including being attacked by another dog at the pound. Despite that, he is a brave boy who loves going for walks! Loki was initially cautious around us, but as time went on, he started to open up. He allowed us to pet him and he eagerly accepted treats. However, touching his lower back is still a sensitive area for now. With time and love, I'm confident he will become more trusting.He enjoys exploring and remains indifferent to strangers and other dogs. Given his past experiences, we kept him separated from other dogs. Loki also walks calmly without pulling on the leash. During his grooming session, he displayed incredible patience with the help of treats.
