About The Color - Salmon & Spruce, DK Wool & Silk Blend
Salmon & Spruce is one of the first yarns I ever dyed. The colors are so rich they look a bit red and black, but in the light you can see it's a stunning peachy salmon and very dark spruce green. The base yarn is Elsebeth Lavold's Silky Wool, and it's still one of my favorite yarns to dye. A terrific blend of natural fibers it's great for your multi-season knitting & crochet projects. Silky Wool yarn has a sensational feel and marvelous drape with superb stitch definition. I always use Jacquard Acid Dyes for their vibrant shades and wide color selection.
