Saturday April 5, 1 - 3pm Gauge VS.your knitting needle size - it's always a fight! What is gauge and why does it matter? Let's make sense of gauge vs.your knitting needle size to determine the size of a pattern based on the gauge we get. Math did matter in school! SUPPLIES: A light-colored skein of &Make DK and 3 different needle sizes: US#4, #6 & #8. REQUIRED HOMEWORK: This is only a 2-hour class, swatches must be completed before class. Knit and block 3 swatches, 6 inches by 6 inches, with these 3 different needles. Bring your swatch and your needles with you. You will be creating your own worksheet, so bring notebook paper and a pencil. You may use a calculator.
