Toes showing up through your socks? Mending to the rescue! In the past 3 years, there has been a resurgence of learning repair and mending techniques to slow down your fashion and help clothing last longer. 2024 fashion in particular has been encouraging of using patches and visible mending to extend the life of clothing in your life. We’ll be learning to use a Katrinkles style Darning Loom and the basics of sashiko (the Japanese art of tiny stitches) and to expand our options for how to repair different fabrics.
