Teen Spin Class

Friday, August 8 11-1pm Ages: 12–18Skill Level: Beginner Ever wondered how yarn is made? In this hands-on class, teens will learn the ancient (and awesome!) craft of spinning fiber into yarn. Led by local teen fiber phenom Kai Solon of Fiber by Nature, students will learn the basics of spinning using a drop spindle.  Everyone will leave with their own handspun yarn—perfect for future knitting, crocheting, weaving, or just admiring! What’s included: All materials provided (wool, drop spindle)What to bring: Curiosity, patience, and a readiness to create something truly unique!
