
OOAK Variant (Trial 2) of Apple Orchard Hand Dyed Merino Wool & Nylon Superwash Yarn
Hand dyed Merino wool and nylon sock-weight yarn in a OOAK variant (trial 2) of the Yarntuary colorway “Apple Orchard”, inspired by picking apples at the apple orchard and named after the song by Beach House. Featured in this colorway are rich, gorgeous colors representing those you might find in an apple orchard: the red of apples, the green of leaves and the brown of a basket. The biggest differences between this variant and the final colorway are the brown and red aren’t as warm in tone. The yarn is a yummy, fingering weight, 2-ply, superwash, sock yarn (weight 1), composed of 80% superwash merino wool and 20% recycled nylon. It contains 400 yd and weighs 100 g. It works up really beautifully and can be used for a wide range of projects, such as socks, sweaters, scarves and more! As with all Yarntuary yarn, each hank of yarn is dyed individually by hand.
