Swishy Pants + Shorts

We called these the Swishy Pants because you can't help but swish your hips while wearing them!  These are true wrap pants, but the waistband is fixed.  They make great pajama bottoms, and you can even wear them out!  Try them for yoga and feel the freedom of movement.  These have a generous overlap, so you won't show anything but some side thigh.  No elastic!   Pattern options:  Four lengths are included for the adult sizes - short, petite, regular, and tall.  The shorts and petite lengths show more leg.  The regular and tall lengths don't show much leg at all!   Difficulty:  This pattern is a very quick sew.  Just 2 cuts - a mirrored pair for the pant, and the waistband.  For knits, you can leave the edges raw and sew these up in about 15 minutes!   Fabric:  Designed for knits with at least 20% stretch, but wovens can be used.  We recommend sizing up the pant pattern piece 3 times when using non-stretch fabric.  The waistband needs to be knit and can be made in your measured size.
