The White Rabbit disco, on Houston Street, a block from North Lamar, brought discotheque dancing to recorded music to Austin at a time when live music was beginning to explode around the city. Disco zigged when the rest of Austin was zagging and the White Rabbit reaped the benefits and gained fame as "Austin's Disco." (You can find the matching mug, which pairs as a great gift, here.) View our entire AUSTIN IS COOL collection.  (A portion of the proceeds of each sale of Austin-related merchandise helps to fight homelessness in Austin through donations to the following Austin organizations we support: Caritas of Austin, Front Steps and Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center.)   The White Rabbit Disco design is recreated in these three wearables for men and women: Next Level Racerback Tank 4 oz. 60% combed ringspun cotton/40% polyester lightweight jersey District Unisex Shirt 100% cotton 4.3-ounce and 30 singles, Rib-Knit Crew Neck, Double needle sleeves and hem Canvas Unisex Tank Rounded
