19th C American Radiator Company Metal Wall Plaque

Art Nouveau 19th C bronze decorative charger. Manufactured by the American Radiator company this high relief decorative wall plaque depicts typical art nouveau designs including floral acanthus swirls, mythical creatures and a classic central female figure. The American Radiator Company was established in 1892 by the merger of a number of North American radiator manufacturers. The company expanded in the early 20th century into Europe under the brand National Radiator Company. The casting is clean and crisp despite its century of existence. This is more than a piece of advertising but an artistic casting from the late 19th century. Marked on back: American Radiator Company This would make a great birthday gift, housewarming gift or as a decorative bronze wall hanging. MEASUREMENTS Plate measures 18.75“ long by 15" tall by 1" deep and weighs 10lb 6oz.
