Antique medical surgeons instrument cased set. Urethral Cystoscope complete set manufactured by the GU mfg company of London around the 1920's. This vintage set consists of 6 attachments, 5 clamps and the main syringe all encompassed in a wooden travel box. The case is constructed using finger jointing and secured via two inset hooks. This is a high quality set which is typical of a field surgeons set as used in the armed forces. The Genito Urinary mfg company was incorporated in 1920 ( changed its name in 1989) but had been making medical equipment since 1901 at their location 28-34 Devonshire st, London. Instruments marked from front to back: GU Mfg Co London Lamp 5B 9645 10709 18017 This antique complete medical set would make a great addition to any antique medical collection ,fabulous graduation gift for a doctor or as a antique display of medical curiosities.
