Antique Silver WCTU Cigarettes Must Go Pin Medal

Antique Temperance movement silver pin back badge. Inscribed on the top bar with the WCTU initials and with the logo "Cigarettes Must Go" on the main cartouche. Made around the 1890's this was part of a anti cigarettes campaign that was part of the WCTU's manifesto, this is a rare early propaganda piece of jewelry. This belonged to a WCTU supporter but has not been inscribed with a name on the reverse. Marked on front: WCTU Cigarettes must go This is a great piece of historical memorabilia for temperance movement or prohibition movement enthusiasts. MEASUREMENTS WCTU medal / pin measures 1.75" long by 1.1" wide and weighs less than 0.1oz CONDITION In good used condition with signs of use commensurate with age (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
