This small but outstanding Lily prefers a moist, acidic, rich soil, being native to the swampy forests of the Coastal Plain. Oh, how I wish this plant was cold hardy up to zone 6b, but alas, it will have to do as an annual in Kentucky. Thin green, strap-like leaves emerge first, but as with all Lilies the fun is in the flower. Gorgeous white flower petals are accented by a yellow interior throat and anthers. A soft pink accent is noticeable upon the flower's emergence and die-back. A rather quick spreader. Put this one in a container to bring indoors during the winter! You won't regret having it again the next year.
