Grape: 70% Sangiovese, 15% Montepulciano, 15% Sagrantino Tasting Notes: Cherry, Blackberry, Earth, Vanilla Filipo Antonelli, once the president of the winemaker's association of Montefalco, is well regarded as a top producer adhering to traditional winemaking practices. The Antonelli Montefalco Rosso is medium bodied, dry, balanced and well structured with marked tannins and lifted medium+ acidity. Deep and rich flavors of dark red berries, leather, earth, red plums, currant, raspberry, pomegranate, vanilla and tobacco come forward on the palate.
