 
                                        Thevenot-Le Brun - Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits 'Les Renardes' 2022 (750ml)
Tasting Notes Black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry) dominate with floral and spicy notes. The tannic structure is solid with nice finesse and a long finish. Vineyard Planted in 1983, Les Renardes is a 2.5 ha parcel in Marey les Fussey in the heart of the Hautes Cotes de Nuits region. The slope is steep with a south-west south orientation, this sunny position allows the vines to flourish and produce high quality grapes. The top-soil is also very thin and forces the vines roots to get deep in the soil to find water, which adds to the complexity of the resulting wine. Vinification Vinification takes place with natural yeast and traditional pumping over and punching down. The duration of fermentation is 15 to 20 days. This cuvée is aged in wood for about a year with a majority of the barrels being 1-2 years old. Appellation The Cotes de Nuits appellation refers to vineyards on or close to the Cote d'Or slope north of the village of Magny-les-Villers while the Hautes Cotes de Nuits
