The grapes for this wine are grown in the Sierra Foothills of California. The wine is aged for 2 years in 100% neutral French oak. Grape varieties : 89% Grenache, 7% Mourvèdre, and 4% Syrah Soil : Granite/volcanic caldera Alcohol : 13.4% Tasting notes : Inspired by our heroes in the Southern Rhône who focus on the more ethereal, mineral-driven side of this lovely varietal. It offers delicate, flinty and persistent aromas of roasted red and citrus fruits and coats the palate with texture, perfect balance and a medium body. It will flexibly pair with seafood, pasta, fowl or meat and will age gracefully for 10-15 years.
