The grapes for this wine are grown in the Sonoma Coast region of California. This wine is aged for one year in 10% new French oak/90% neutral French oak. Grape varieties : Pinot Noir Altitude : 200m ASL Soil : Goldridge Alcohol : 13.8% Tasting notes : This Pommard clone based wine originates in the Petaluma Gap and offers up clean aromas of bright bitter red cherry, saline and baking spices. Balanced and elegant in the mouth, it features a medium bodied frame with strong and bright acidity that indicates a long life ahead. It unwinds with exposure to air and reveals flavors of dried flowers and red fruits. It will drink well from release and should age gracefully for well over a decade. Serve with a full range of foods from seafood to meat.
