Liu, Shih-Pin hand made tea pot
CREATIVE CONCEPT In the vastness of time and space, we always hope to leave a bit of memory by creating using the materials of the earth. For example, the baking temperature of the bright sun is the most natural media and the most primitive form of pounding. I try to etch the memories within the depths of my soul onto my works. My works contain real materials, as well as imaginary and illusory objects. With clay for my material and fire for my media, I express feelings outside of language, establishing a bridge for memories and imagination to serve as a new realm for communication between people.
