Liquid Farm Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Champagne (NV)

95 - Decanter Liquid Farm owner Jeff Nelson partnered with Champagne Pertois-Moriset, a producer based in the Côte des Blancs. This 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay is from Le Mesnil-sur-Ogier. Produced in Champagne and imported to the US by Liquid Farm. Disgorged in January 2022 with a dosage of 2.5g/l. Golden in colour, with fine-beading and a rich, creamy mousse, offering up a biscuity nose and a heady mix of candied-lemon peel, dried apricots, and poached pears, all of which carries through on the palate. Energetic and bold, finishing with a crushed stone minerality. It's all but impossible to put down your glass, and the bottle goes fast. - December 18, 2022, Jonathan Cristaldi
