FOBOS Alaris

The Alaris is Erik Hanses take on a modern camp knife. Steel choice for this beauty is Crucibles own CPM-3V at 58 HRC Cryogenically Stabilized. The Alaris was designed from the ground up to replace your camp/bushcraft knife. Several key features were looked at and modified in order to provide an one of a kind experience when handling this blade. The bow drill is FOBOS knives first version with this very unique feature, along with a dedicated ferro rod striking notch. Various versions of the lanyard hole were looked at in order to fit a snap shackle and aid in retention. The kydex sheath is a testament to durability, the bottom contains a small weep hole to aid with draining and maintaining the blade dry. A heavy duty dangler keeps the sheath by your side and always ready. The scales are also a brand new re-design for FOBOS, with several features such as scalloping to improve grip, tapering to increase purchase and thick bright liners to accent the lines of the blade.
