The Lower Antelope Canyon, known as Hazdistazi by the Navajo, is located in the northern part of my state of Arizona. The slot canyon was formed by the erosion of Navajo Sandstone due to flash flooding over time. The light in the narrow passageways varies greatly by the season, weather, and time of day, making for some challenging photography. However, because of this, the two images are seldom alike. This particular formation is called The Eagle, and rightfully so!
